Marigold ‘Peruvian Wild’, also known as ‘Huacatay’ or ‘Stinking Roger’, is a native of Peru, up to 2m tall. Grown for leaves rather than flowers, which are small. Leaves are used as a seasoning, dried or freshly ground. Traditionally used in Peruvian cooking with potatoes. Refreshing herbal tea. Can also be used as fumigant to kill nematodes in soil.
