Annual, trailing Nasturtiums can be grown as a groundcover, or climber. Brightly coloured yellow or orange flowers attract beneficial insects. Occasionally flowers may be a lighter colour. Flowers and young leaves are edible, with peppery taste. Use fresh. Immature seed heads can be used as ‘poor man’s capers’.
